Machine Calf Raise, seated

Overview

Main working muscle group: Calves

Do
  • Place feet on lower edge of foot platforms, adjust seat so legs are extended with a slight bend in the knees and set resistance
  • Start with heels slightly lower than edge of foot platform, extend toes outward and rise up your feet as far as you can
  • Slowly lower to start position and repeat
Avoid
  • Locking the knees
  • Not extending the toes all the way
  • Doing too fast
